Rajkummar Rao’s Unbelievable Transformation For Hansal Mehta’s Web Series Based On Subhash Chandra Bose
Rajkummar Rao always surprises us with his different looks. The National award-winning actor posted his look for Hansal Mehta’s next where he will be portraying the role of Subhash Chandra Bose and we are awestruck!
Rajkummar Rao had earlier lost 8 kg for his for Vikramaditya Motwane’s survival-drama, Trapped and Behen Hogi Teri. And now the actor has put on another 11 kg for his portrayal of Subhash Chandra Bose in a web series directed by Hansal Mehta.
He posted a picture on his social media account as a proof captioning it as, “o#AnActorsLife #Building a character. From Behen Hogi Teri to Trapped to currently shooting for #Bose. Nothing gives me more high than preparing and living a character.”
He has got the pot-bellied, balding look on point, isn’t it?
In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, Rajkumar said, “For all my previous films — City Lights, Aligarh and of course Trapped— I’ve been asked to lose weight. So I was delighted when I was asked to gain weight. I have been binging on pizzas, Bengali sweets and junk food for the last one month-and-a-half and will continue this routine till August. I stopped working out two months ago. I decided that I wanted to see the character whenever I looked in a mirror and not Rajkummar. I even listened to Rabindrasangeet on loop and read Bose’s unfinished autobiography to connect with the era. These helped me the most.”
The series portrays him in several looks from Bose’s college days to when the freedom fighter founded the Indian National Army.
He was last seen in Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta in a guest appearance.
